Movement of users

CIUSSS has developed a procedure for the application of rules on moving users:

  • Between institutions
  • 65 and older
  • Transferred by Air medic Evacuation of Quebec (EVAQ)
  • In need of and at the request of their physician, for care and services not available in their region
  • Aboriginal users registered with the Department of Northern Indian Affairs of Canada (INAC)

The document specifies, among other things, the role and responsibility of users, physicians, institutions and the CIUSSS. It sets out the procedures for the application and payment requirements.
