Integrated Perinatal and Early Childhood Services (SIPPE)
For who?
- Pregnant women (from the 12th week of pregnancy) and their families
- Mothers of a child between 0 and 5 years of age and their families
- Mothers or pregnant women who do not have a high school or vocational diploma and are experiencing financial difficulties
Why?
- To receive support adapted to the needs of the mother such as:
– Returning to school
– Job search
– Looking for childcare facilities
– Housing search
– Social assistance
- Obtain relevant information on:
– Health
– Pregnancy
– Breastfeeding
– Child development
– Relationships
– Parent’s life
– Community resources
- Ideas for parent-child activities designed to stimulate the child
- Meet other parents to discuss and share experiences
This program is offered by professionals such as nurses, social workers, family assistants, nutritionists, psycho-educators, etc.
