Regional Committee on Pharmaceutical Services

In order to support the organization of pharmaceutical services, the Regional Committee on Pharmaceutical Services, under the authority of the President and CEO of the CIUSSS, is responsible for the following :

Making recommendations on the organization of pharmaceutical services as well as on workforce planning
Providing opinions on the accessibility and quality of pharmaceutical services, as well as on projects related to the use of medications
Giving opinions on innovative approaches in pharmaceutical care and services
Carrying out any other mandate assigned by the President and CEO

The procedures for appointing members of the Regional Committee on Pharmaceutical Services and its chairperson, the duration of their terms, and the internal governance rules of the committee are determined by CIUSSS regulations.
